Relay Unit for Motoric Valve
How does RUMV work?
Control Units designed for solenoid valves usually give out 230V during the time a solenoid valve shall be open. That powers the coil of the electromagnet (solenoid). To close the valve, no external energy is required. The valve will close due to a spring and the air-flow. For motoric valves, like butterfly valves, the actuator needs “30V in one direction” to open and “230V in the other direction” to close the valve. The Relay Unit for Motoric Valves (RUMV) converts the signal for solenoid valves to the signal required for motoric valves..
Features of Relay Unit
- Used to control four motoric valves
- 4 x 230VAC controlled relays with 3 output contacts (common ground and two-line outputs) used to switch the voltage between the two inputs of the motoric valves
- LED indication which output is active
- Fuse + LED fuse OK indication for mains connection
- Fuse for connection to Control Unit
- Cable set to connect control voltage from Sequetrol®or other Control Units
- Mains cable 1m for 230VAC power supply without mains plug (only cable) (for motoric valves)
- Cable terminals to connect output voltage for valves
